‘Leo’ is the final teaser from The Traps’ third album, due for a release on Friday 19^th June 2020. The band refer to Echoes as a ‘prequel’ album, made up of lost tracks and work from deep within their vaults. Booming four-to-the-floor bass drums kick things off alongside hypnotic guitar chords before exploding into a barrage of overdrive and powerful vocal lines. Producer Andy Taylor is responsible for giving each instrument room to breathe amongst the otherwise crowded texture, while the band state that “disco lit kitchen parties to the close friends, bands and crazies which would come to symbolise everything we loved about our adopted city and scene” are just as responsible for the release as the band themselves.
